You're more than anything that I could treasure from this world.
It's kinda like the parable of the hidden pearl.
If I gave up every single thing I had in life
to gain Christ, it really wouldn't be a sacrifice.
My deepest joys are meant to be found in your
praise, singing holy, holy, holy, for endless days.
But I confess this,
at times my devotion gets tested,
and my heart's exposed cause it's restless.
And it'll stay that way until I find my rest in you.
And resting in you is surely what I'm meant to do.
Lord take me to a place that I've never been before
To explore realities beyond the metaphor.
And when my faith becomes sight in your presence
Lord, pure pleasure and joy cause you're forever more.

Crying more from the depths of me,
